The first squirrel I ever killed with a bow was a fox squirrel. I was hunting behind my house and he ran up on a little hickory sapling and just sat there. The shot was about 15 yards and I thought to myself, "If I miss, I will never see this arrow again." So I took my time, drew back my recurve, and focused on hitting him right in the eye. I ended up hitting him in the head and STILL lost the arrow!
It was definitely worth it!
