An update....
« on: July 15, 2020, 01:01:44 PM »
If you're following along in the Matchlock thread,it's gonna be slow with updates. It's 120 degrees in the non a/c shop we have here (We've moved to a different one with a/c to do another project for the summer) and I have no desire to be out in it,even at night.

On another note,I've been working on a travel horn for my worldly jaunts and back in March I got stuck in Jordan for a month and a half because of travel restrictions due to Covid. Before that went down that I made some trips to sight see and I managed to get it to the Jordan river to the supposed baptism place of Jesus.

The Jordanian side is a little less nice than the Israeli side, but still a good experience.

Having all the places I've been scrimshawed on this horn just makes me want to keep adding to it.

I apologize for no shooting or hunting posts, but crafting is the only posts I can add here to our great little forum till I'm done playing over here, which won't be for a long while.

Thanks for what you do!  No apology needed...this stuff has delimited all of our plans and now it's hotter'n hades here in TN as well...I hear it's pretty unseasonable in the NE too...

You're seeing things none of us will ever see... not in this realm anyway...

Hang in there!  Stay safe

Guy in Amarillo sent me a pic of a thermometer reading 105 the other day... I recall some 101s when I lived in MT... they'd say, "Well, its dry heat" Phtttt.. I couldn't hardly breath!

It does make it slightly more tolerable when it's dry...how much more is debatable lol
