I sent three badger skins to the lady that made my frock and this is what I got back today

Funny you'd mention a skunk...Once at Denton Hill archery festival a guy proudly showed off his skunk quiver he had...till it rained.  It got wet and somehow, we were well behind him on the course and the stench hung in the air...his group ousted him to shoot by himself...the rain somehow had rejuvinated the skunk smell!

I bet that was funky!!!!!  Wet skunk would linger for quite some time I suppose. ...

I'm at a loss as to how or why the SKUNK smell would linger in a hide like that... Memory isn't good lo this many years later so if i knew details, I forget them, but I'm not sure if the guy said how he came by the hide or if he made it himself, but it was cool looking...UNTIL it got wet... man I don't need a good memory to recall how badly that stank! ;D
