Gettin' all PC...

I wish they'd invented the Thermacell in 1740.....
Buckskin leggings, a breechclout & exposed groin + Florida Swamp Skeeters do not make for a happy week

I've been working on traditional clothing the last few years.  Took my first "all traditional clothing" turkey a couple of years ago, and this year a deer.  Been small game hunting in traditional for a couple of years now.

I can't say if my clothing is perfectly period correct.  I just try to get the "spirit" of the adventure.

Your outfit may not be perfect if viewed under a microscope, but overall, it looks quite good to me. I wish mine looked that good! The one thing that keeps me from wanting to hunt in period dress is snakes. Georgia seldom gets cold enough to drive them underground for an extended period of time, and time period snake boots just aren't a possibility. A breechclout just doesn't keep out the ticks, even with permethrin spray. Nice pictures.
